Session Overview

Our speaker will provide an overview of the benefits of purchasing NH PFML insurance, what is included in the coverage, who is eligible, what is a qualifying event, etc.

 Speaker Bio: 

  Richard Lavers, Deputy Commissioner, NH Employment Security

Rich Lavers is currently the deputy commissioner of the state of New Hampshire’s department of employment security, a position he has held since originally being appointed by then Governor Maggie Hassan in 2013 and most recently being re-appointed by Governor Chris Sununu in 2021. Rich has been part of the team charged with implementing the state’s unique, first of its kind, voluntary paid family and medical leave program since originally being passed into law in 2021.
